Have you received an "Urgent Domain Notice" letter
from DROA - Domain Registry of Australia, Domain
Registry of America, Domain Names Australia Pty Ltd
or similar?
Watch out for unscrupulous companies trying to
deceive you into losing your domain name. Please be
warned to watch out for a scam which could see them
switch your domain name registrar, charge you higher
renewal fees and take control of your domain name.
This type of misleading and deceptive conduct as well
as "domain slamming" has been going on for a
number years. Please be warned.
If you have received such a notice and wish to renew
your domain name, we advise that you contact us as
soon as possible. Please do not follow the How To
Renew instructions contained within the notice without
first speaking to us. If you have any questions or
concerns, please feel free to contact Vendhost
directly on (07) 5514 0492.
If your domain name is registered through Vendhost
you will not receive a renewal notice in the post. All
renewal notices from Vendhost are sent via email.
Please ensure that your email contact details with
Vendhost are up-to-date. We email out domain name
renewal notices at 60-days, 30-days and Final days to
the expiration date. All emails come from our Sales
department "Vendhost - Sales" and include your
domain name in the subject line: "Renewal Notice For
DOMAIN - ....."
NOTE: Recently we came upon an unfortunate fact
that spam filtering systems of some major free email
service providers (e.g.: gmail, hotmail, yahoo and
MSN) identify our emails as spam. Please take a look
in your SPAM folder and unblacklist the vendhost.com
domain to receive notifications from us in the future.
